Horseback riding

In Bangalore you have a wonderful chance to try out or fine tune horseback riding. It is affordable and a nice counter balance for the city stress. Especially the kids love it and have great fun and it is educational wise valuable too.
There are some places where you can do horseback ride, for instance at the palace ground, the Princes Horseback Adventure or the HorseRiding Stables  or a little outside the Embassy International Riding School

The last is a very beautiful, professional managed horse shelter, training place and riding school with excellent horses (about 100, private, race and school horses). Here you could even bring your own horses; they train horses for races or equestrian and host international competitions from time to time.

The whole riding school is managed be a passionate Italian Lady, who has won as jockey many prices and she loves horses, people and kids.

And especially for the kids they have many things to offer, beside guided pony rides to give the young kids a firsthand feeling, they offer riding lessons with pony’s or horses for all ages, but it is said, the kids should be about 6 to start it, to understand and implement the instructions, and at the end they have camp facilities for weekend activities with the horses, like horse weekends, were cleaning and feeding is an important part of the fun, or you can rent it for personal activities.

Beside the horses you have some trampolines or a small playground and you can experience lots of other animals from sheep’s and geese to wild monkeys. In the canteen you can get nice Italian food after preorder. Kids have for sure fun, fresh air and will on the way back to the city for sure fall asleep.

More information you find under the given link, it is off Yelehanka and from the city a hour drive, but there for you are in a different India. Enjoy some pictures below.
