For a relaxed family day for the people from the North of Bangalore we can recommend Angsana Spa and Resort. It is a five star resort and has all amenities for a pleasant weekend retreat. The pool is located in a nice landscaped garden; it is not a big Olympic size pool with swimming lanes it is small and nice and offers private areas and often there are not that
many people using it. There is an open air restaurant to enjoy a buffet meal on weekend are a hotel restaurant for the rest of the week. The food is Indian with intercontinental touch. Because that place is not so crowded the food variety is smaller and only to go for the food is not the reason for the recommendation. Another plus point is the excellent spa, Angsana is worldwide known for its high end massages and treatments. For around 2000INR you get Thai, Swedish, Ayurveda massages in a wonderful surrounding. There is also a squash and tennis court for the sportive people. The brunch package on Sundays cost 1600 INR per person inclusive food and usage of pool.
